Location, Agiassos Bay

Agiassos is the last south west beach can be reached by car. It is a long sand with shallow waters and more developed compared to nearby Pyrgaki. There are mini-markets and seaside taverns with excellent food. Agiassos attracts visitors who wish to enjoy a crystal clear sea in a quiet place away from the crowds. Agiassos can be reached via Sagri Village or via Pyrgaki (the last 4 Km are dirt road).

An amazing, very long and clean beach, with golden sand crystal clear water and very few people even in high season

At Agiassos you will enjoy a beach without the hustle and bustle of the more touristy beaches of the island. The beach is of fine sand, the water is crystal clear and just to the north of the bay there is a nice good rocky area where you can snorkel and look at under-water. As you walk to the south, the beach feels rather deserted, you will never be disturbed.

The greater area is also known for its dairy products and if you see a local to sell local cheese, just buy it.
